Although challenging to find, these reptiles lived in tropical areas with rich-acidic soil. Their primary food source is insects attracted to their scent, but they can survive by only bathing in sunlight. You can quickly tell when one is nearby from the pods attached to funguses. A fungus is a source of nutrients for their eggs to hatch.
They make good familiar companions for those who favour nature. Often the skin/petals they shed are used as ingredients for herbs and medicine. Others use them as a new set of ears for incoming dangers.
